On March 21-23, there was the second international jazz fest in Kharkiv. To take part in «KHARKIV ZA JAZZ FEST» jazzmen from all over the world came to the city. There were representatives from the USA, France, Germany, Finland, Russia, Morocco, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and Switzerland.
In spite of the fact that it was only the second jazz fast in Kharkiv, it already has a world wide status – among the guests performing at the fest there were not just popular musicians but world legendary jazz stars.
Cosmopolit art hotel was glad to provide all the conditions for the participants of the fest – Marcial Solal, Jed Levy, Paul Bollenbeck, Chris McNulty, John Brennan, John Daniel Walter, Sergei Davydov, Anatoliy Gerasimov, Andrey Kondakov, Dmitriy Aleksandrov, Denis Dudko, Vladimir Shabaltas, and Alexander Lebedenko. So they could get only positive emotions and energy during their stay in Kharkiv and have a good rest before the concert and after it.
And of course, the main event in the cultural life of Kharkiv and the subject of pride for the Cosmopolit hotel was the visit of Ron Carter who got two highest ‘Grammy’ awards and has a rank of “the most ever recordable contrabass player”.
