In December Dnister hotel received the participants of the Vth European Karate Open Championship (Matsushima version). The fighters from Europe, Japan, Pakistan, Iran, and USA took part in the competition.

“The previous 4 championships took place in Kiev”, said the President of Kiokushin Karate Association Mr. Kindzer, “but the Ukrainian capital got tired of many sport events, that’s why this year the decision to move the championship to Lviv was approved. Moreover, the city has very favorable location and developed infrastructure.”
